As the founding engineer and CTO, Evan is charged with building a world class mobile app, website, and back end. He is an experienced engineering leader with nearly a decade of professional experience building technology products from the ground up. As a mobile and product engineer at Postmates for two years, he built many fundamental features of the Postmates mobile apps, helped to hire and scale their engineering team, and worked with the CEO, product and business leads to ensure the company was focused on optimal objectives. He also previously worked as a senior software engineer at Zynga.
Michael has previously worked as an Engineering Director at Postmates, managing everything from backend to web to iOS, as well as a large team of engineers. At Zero, he is building a team of engineers that have the same passion for venturing into the unfamiliar, and creating a product in financial services unlike any other before it. Michael also previously worked as a principal software engineer at Zynga.
Ailien spent the last 15 years developing and implementing compliance risk governance frameworks and programs at organizations ranging from large complex banks (Silicon Valley Bank and Bank of the West) to fast-growing financial technology startups (Affirm, Inc. and Upgrade, Inc.).
Robert is in charge of managing credit risk. With over 10 years of credit risk management experience in unsecured consumer credit cards, Robert has previously worked for Wells Fargo in varying positions including Vice President of Decision Sciences.
As the Director of product management, Eric is responsible for building great experiences for our customers and growing our business. Eric joined from Capital One where he worked on the credit card acquisitions growth team. Previously, he worked on underwriting analytics for several of Capital One's customer management programs.
Dalton is a technology enthusiast; he has a wealth of experience in building agile infrastructures to assist businesses in meeting their customers’ expectation of an always-on experience. Limitations on traditional banking recently ensnared him, and Level offered an exciting solution by putting the whole experience in the palm of your hand. Dalton has been an advocate of containerization and the agility afforded by the concept; he has helped build platforms for companies such as Apple, Stitchlabs and SigFig.
Will is a senior backend engineer from IBM's data streaming and cloud integration team. Will is a founding member of Apache Edgent, and contributed heavily to the IBM Streams data processing framework. His interest in data science and finance was sparked after being involved in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, and is excited to help build a banking experience from the ground up.
Amber brings many years of financial services management experience, including knowledge of retail banking and consumer loans, to the support team. Having previously worked at Wells Fargo and LendingClub, Amber believes that strong employee engagement is a major contributor to delivering an excellent customer experience. She joined to build a best-in-class customer support team empowered to deliver unparalleled service, is grateful to have successfully led its growth to this point, and looks forward to further scaling with the team to new heights.
